CILICIA. Kibyra Minor. 2nd-1st century BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.13 g, 12 h). Jugate busts of the Dioskouroi to right, both wearing a laureate cap; above, two stars. Rev. EK / KIBYPATΩN Athena standing front, head to left, holding taenia in her left hand and erecting trophy with her right; to left, countermark of a female (?) head to right. SNG Levante 385 = SNG von Aulock 5654 (this coin). Extremely rare. A very attractive coin with a lovely dark patina and an illustrious pedigree. Good very fine.
